Tjalling de Boer, market researcher at CBI

Tjalling de Boer (MSc.) is a market researcher and moderator for this webinar. He studied psychology and business administration in the Netherlands. He has been active in research for over 15 years. Since 2023, Tjalling has led the research team on the cocoa and coffee sectors on behalf of CBI. Besides his work for CBI, he mainly conducted research for SMEs, municipalities and semi-governmental organisations. In addition to doing research, Tjalling teaches research methodology and statistics at two Dutch universities. Since 2017, he also has been the director of Contenza.
Gabriel Chait, coffee value chain consultant at Poxtec

Gabriel Chait is a coffee value chain consultant with over a decade of experience. He supports producers and businesses across Latin America, Africa, Asia and Europe. Gabriel specialises in supporting coffee importers, exporters, and producer organisations to understand speciality market dynamics, develop production and market strategies, and build long-term, resilient relationships. Gabriel has worked with some of the world's leading roasters, importers, and NGOs to create more transparent and sustainable supply chains.
