Webinar: European trends and opportunities for natural ingredients for health products

Europe is an important market for pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals and alternative medicine products. The growing interest in a healthy lifestyle, natural food supplements and alternative medicines is increasing the demand for natural ingredients in Europe. Ageing populations, growing awareness of preventative healthcare and concerns about the potential side effects of regular pharmaceuticals are also contributing to the increased demand.

Interest in ingredients like medicinal and aromatic plants, extracts, essential oils, seaweeds, algae, turmeric and ginger has broadened the opportunities for exporters from emerging economies. Still, there are challenges. These include safeguarding consistent supplies, meeting market requirements, mapping out opportunities and identifying the right buyers.

During this webinar, we will discuss the opportunities and challenges in the European market and solutions for natural ingredients for health product exporters. We will address the following questions:

  • How is the demand for natural ingredients for health products developing?
  • What trends and developments affect the market?
  • What applications and ingredients provide the most opportunities in the European market?
  • What recommendations can small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) follow to improve their market access?
