Discover full-flavoured products from emerging markets
This year, a group of promising companies will present their high-value export products at a dedicated pavilion. These companies have been part of CBI's export coaching projects, which are designed to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in gaining access to the European market.
We will showcase new product lines from 16 export-ready companies. All these companies offer a rich variety of products, including:
- Dried fruits. For example, mango, pineapple, coconut, papaya, banana;
- Canned fruits;
- Freeze dried fruits;
- Coconut ingredients, such as coconut water, coconut milk;
- Desiccated coconut;
- Lime, lemon, or orange peel and powder;
- Fruit and cereal chunks or bites;
- Fruit rolls;
- Macadamia nuts;
- Macadamia oil.
All companies have a focus on:
- Quality and food safety;
- Full traceability;
- Sustainable sourcing.
Shaping sustainable trade from Ghana and Kenya
The CBI projects in Ghana and Kenya also aim to strengthen sector coordination and promote sustainable economic development.
In Ghana, SMEs focus on boosting youth employment through inclusive value chain development. In Kenya, CBI supports the development of a coordinated, transparent and competitive macadamia sector, prioritising quality and sustainability, while emphasising the crop's vital role in improving the livelihoods of smallholder farmers.
