EUDR webinar on coffee – Importers perspective

Are you a small or medium-sized enterprise (SME) in the coffee sector and do you want to know all about the European Union Regulation on Deforestation-free Products (EUDR)? Then you should join our webinar, where you will learn all about what is important to European importers.

Over the past year, EUDR has been a hot topic in the coffee sector, attracting considerable attention. The CBI project in Uganda about climate-smart coffee and other organisations organised various activities to support small exporters with technical guidance. A voice often absent in these public conversations is that of EU-based importers (operators, as per EUDR jargon), who are legally responsible for submitting the necessary due diligence information to the EU (through the TRACES system).

To enhance understanding among SME exporters in Uganda of the actual expectations of their direct market actors, CBI is organising an interactive discussion involving importers and risk service providers, using a practical perspective and pragmatic mindset to make data provision for EUDR compliance successful.
