Outbound tourism from Poland, the Baltic States, the Czech Republic and Slovakia

Takes 13 minutes to read

The Eastern European market is an emerging market for outbound tourism that still has to reach maturity. Due to rapidly growing economies and incomes, an increasing number of Eastern European travellers are travelling abroad. In fact, some of the highest annual growth rates in trips to developing countries have been observed in Eastern European countries. Opportunities for tourism companies in Developing Countries are highest in Poland, the Baltic States, Czech Republic and Slovakia. Mainstream holidays, sun and beach holidays and round trips offer the best product potential. Demand for niche products is still relatively small, but interest is expected to increase.
