Call for Market Expert - Indonesia/Malaysia - Jordan Fresh Fruits and Vegetables

In anticipation of a new fresh fruits and vegetables project in Jordan, CBI is seeking to recruit multiple[1] experts to coaching the participating companies in the project. For more information on the project click here.

This vacancy is for a West Europe market expert.

The project will focus on the following product categories:

  • (Stone) Fruits
  • Herbs
  • Vegetables
  • Dates

The main task of the market experts will be to work together with the CBI business export coaching expert in its coaching of Jordan companies in becoming successful exporters to the above mentioned markets and/or in strengthening their market position on those markets. This may include: preparing and executing trade mission, following up on leads with importers, training and coaching the exporters in area’s such as marketing and sales. 

The market experts should meet the following requirements:

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in the in the fresh fruits and vegetables sector during the last 10 years, with a focus on export and import related activities;
  • Excellent demonstrable network in the FFV sector in the respective markets;
  • Fully acquainted with the supply situation in the respective market;
  • Experience in the field of training and coaching, preferably as a consultant;
  • Excellent communicative and didactic skills;
  • Sound command of the English language, both spoken & written.
