New Ingredients Bring Innovation and Inspiration

CBI presents five suppliers from Colombia and Peru at In-Cosmetics 2013

CBI is proud to present five specially selected suppliers from Colombia and Peru. These companies are driven by the desire to offer new ingredients responsibly sourced and packed with inspiration. You can meet them during in-cosmetics 2013, in Paris, 16 - 18 April at the CBI pavilion Hall 1, Stand G11.

We’re not the first to recognise that the Amazon and Andean regions are an outstanding source of inspiration and innovation for the cosmetics industry. However the difference is that these five companies are extending the boundaries of that very same innovation and inspiration. They have studied the biodiversity accessible to them; they have investigated the plants that have potential for use in cosmetics; they have developed extracts suitable for cosmetics application and they are now ready to present these ingredients to cosmetics manufacturers. What’s more is that these five companies have been specially selected to be part of the CBI export programme. Each of the featured suppliers has invested heavily to prepare for success in Europe. And all are interested in forming long-term business relationships. During in-cosmetics 2013, importers and manufacturers can meet these companies at the CBI Pavilion and see some of the products at the Innovation Zone.

Visitors will find a wide range of products exhibited at the CBI Pavilion. In addition to introducing five new sources of ingredients at in-cosmetics 2013, CBI will also organize a seminar, Innovation and Inspiration from Colombia and Peru, featuring sector expert Andrew Jones. Mr. Jones has worked in the cosmetics industry for 18 years, including nine years with The Body Shop Sourcing and Community Fair Trade programmes. He will talk about these new ingredients and their potential for use in cosmetics.

Meet five new suppliers for this wide range of ingredients, as well as the sector expert from CBI, at the CBI Pavilion, Hall 1, Stand G11, in Paris, April 16 - 18 at in-cosmetics 2013.
