Status: current (closed for application) CLOSED FOR APPLICATION! This ECP will get your company ready for the European market and give it the opportunity to enter it. Especially the market for long-haul tourism revolves around the relationships between inbound and outbound tour operators. Finding the right partners and getting in touch with them is not easy. Furthermore, the European market is complex and fragmented. Determining which geographical market and which market segment to target is not an easy job either. The CBI ECP for Tourism helps to resolve these issues and gives you the opportunity to benefit from the growing European market for tourism! Until now, the ECP for Tourism has been concentrated on the Dutch market, with participations in the combined trade-consumer tourism fair Vakantiebeurs (www.vakantiebeurs-online.nl/sites/vakbezoekers_vakantiebeurs-online_nl/en/index.asp) in the Netherlands. However, CBI enlarged its focus. Scandinavia, France, Germany, Spain and the UK, all large markets with high potential, are now target markets within the programme. As a participant in the ECP, you will have the opportunity to determine which geographical market is the most profitable for your tourism services. In order to make this decision, you will receive extensive information about each market during an Export Marketing Training and you will be assisted by an CBI external expert with a long trackrecord in the sector. Together with the CBI external expert, you will also decide on the best options to enter the market. These could be: trade fair participations, one-to-one meetings with buyers, a road show or presentations to present your product.
