Introduction

Get a practical update on EU market developments in your sector. CBI sector experts are regularly in your country to train exporters. CBI is active in almost fourty European markets, so check below if there is a training for you in your country.

The workshop are organised in cooperation with a local Business Support Organisation (BSO). Application and registration for the workshops will be administered by the local BSO.  


Goals


The Market Research training course will provide business support organisation with knowledge, skills and tools to collect and analyse data about the EU markets, target groups, EU restriction to export/trade and trade channels. The training is focussed on the Home decoration and Home textiles sector.


At the end of the training the participant:

▪ knows what market intelligence is and how to use it
▪ has ideas on how to manage collected market information
▪ has a MI plan ready and has tools to implement it in the organisation
▪ knows how to distribute information in the own network
▪ is able to name the difference between desk- and field research/ primary and  secondary  research.
▪ has knowledge of different methodologies for collecting and analyzing data is able to apply internet as a tool for market research


Programme

The workshop consists of 3 programme days. The training will be organized in Jakarta, Indonesia: 2-4 August, 2010


Target Audience
The training course is designed for:

Employees of NAFED who will focus on or use market information in their daily work. The participants should have experience in exports and international business. The participants are conversant with the English language.

NAFED is responsible for a critical selection of the participants who would like to attend the Market Research training.
