EU-imports continued the upward trend. The largest importer by far was Germany, followed by France, the UK, Italy and Belgium. Drives and transmissions were the largest imported product group, followed by tooling and hydraulics. Developing countries have enlarged their relative share in imports to 5.2 percent.
